A radio club gathering of all ages interested in learning, advancing, and using wireless radio system networks on both analog and digital platforms.

This is a radio club for anyone interested in radio technology.
You do not join or sign up for anything. There are no
club members, memberships,
dues, no constitution or by-laws etc. like many other clubs and organizations.
One leader with one mission that gathers families, neighbors and friends in a
social and learning environment.
You then could be the next leader to support the mission of this club.

Experienced and non-experienced operators both licensed and unlicensed regardless of age are invited to the gatherings / meetings.
* * *
Meetings vary in levels of instruction. discussions and demonstrations presented by various local knowledgeable licensed operators.
* * *
Some gatherings may be at an outside event for recreational, social,
learning, or a training field exercise. You decide what sessions to attend.
Some meetings may be "on-the-air" for anyone interested in just listening
with just a simple handheld radio called a Family Mobile Radio ( FRS)
walkie-talkie.

Gatherings can be helpful and beneficial for anyone seeking employment in a technical field, in personal security or security for any organization. A wonderful way to get involved in public safety.

You do not need be a resident of Colonial Heights. Meetings are often held outside the city to help increase interest in this fast changing field. We also travel throughout the state upon request. Come, learn, and share your interest and experiences.
