Selected Scripture Verses -  Terrible, Yet Great God of Creation

Romans 1: 18-20
18   For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men
        who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood
      by the things that are made, 
even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 

Psalm 145:6
And men shall speak of the might of their terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.

Mark 41: 35-41
35 
And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over
        unto the other side
37   And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship,
       so that it was now full. 
38  And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow:  and they awake him,
      and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39  And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Pease be still, 
       And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm

      that even the wind and sea obey him?  

Daniel 1:1-2
 1 
In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar
      king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.
2  And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah unto his hand, with part of the vessels
    of the house of God. which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god;
    and he brought the vessels into the treasure of his god.

Ezra 1:1-7
Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth
  of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia,
  that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms
  of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar
     had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;
